This month it will begin Spring in Austin!
Spring brings SXSW. Dates are March 9th – the 17th. These dates may be useful to attend south by or to know when to leave Austin.

Spring in Austin also brings rain to our fair green city – The City of Austin is offering rebates on residential & commercialirrigation systems, water timers, development of “rain-scapes” & rain water harvesting systems! http://www.austintexas.gov/department/rebates-tools-and-programs
Speaking of which metal roofs are the best for rain water collection. Metal roof panels are slick unlike shingles which can allow granules into the system. All metal roofs are well suited for collection and there are a lot of styles and colors to choose from.
